Waste Glass From Other Artists’ Studios, Kiln-Cast & Coldworked
“What We’re Made Of” is an ongoing project in which I collect glass scraps from different artists’ studios and cast them into stackable forms inspired by ancient columns. My goal is to display the largest cross-section of the glass community as possible through waste glass cullet sourced from studios across the globe. The more people who participate, the taller the column will rise. As these pieces show, we are all unique and individual in our creative practices in the glass world, but our true strength and growth comes when we work together and support each other as a community.
